What is CBD?

Cannabidiol, aka CBD, is one of over a hundred naturally-occurring cannabinoids found in industrial hemp plants. It is non-intoxicating and interacts with your body’s endocannabinoid system.

How does CBD work?

How is hemp different than marijuana?

Hemp and marijuana both belong to the cannabis plant species and are legally recognized as two different plants. The main difference is the amount of THC that each plant contains. Industrial hemp is non-intoxicating and can legally only contain less than 0.3% THC. Marijuana plants contain much higher levels of THC that can cause intoxication.

Will your products make me high?

No. The CBD found in our products is always derived from industrial hemp and is non-intoxicating.

Is hemp-derived CBD legal?

Will I pass a drug test?

What is the best way to use your products?

Our oils are best taken sublingually – just place a few drops under your tongue (or your pet’s tongue!). Harbor Hemp creams should be applied topically to affected areas (do not ingest). Pet biscuits are for dogs only and should be given as a treat (see labeling for dosage). Water soluble products are designed to be infused into your favorite beverage or recipe. They can be added before or after cooking to both hot and cold food and beverages.

What is the best CBD dose for me or my pet?

Where do you source your CBD?

Our CBD is derived exclusively from non-GMO, pesticide-free, industrial hemp. And we only partner with US-based farms that use natural farming practices.

What is the difference between your full spectrum and Zero THC products?

Our full spectrum products contain additional terpenes and other cannabinoids, have <0.3% THC and are non-intoxicating. Our “Zero THC” products are also non-intoxicating and made from 99% pure CBD isolate and contain 0% THC.

Are Harbor Hemp Company’s product lab-tested?

Yes. We believe in total transparency and batch test all of our products with an independent lab to ensure quality and purity. You can easily access Harbor Hemp lab reports using the QR code found on our packaging, by visiting a product’s web page or searching the “Lab Results” section of this site.

How do Harbor Hemp products ship?

Consumer orders are shipped via USPS. FedEx is used to ship all retailer wholesaler orders.

When will my Harbor Hemp order ship?

All packages are typically shipped out within 2 business days after a payment is processed but may take up to 4 business days during high volume shipping times. Our business hours are 9am-5pm EST, Monday through Friday.

How do I track my Harbor Hemp order?

Once your Harbor Hemp order ships, a confirmation email will be sent to the email associated with your order and will include a tracking number. Your order is estimated to arrive within 5-7 days after shipment.

Does Harbor Hemp offer free shipping?

Orders under $75 ship for a flat rate of $10 within the United States. We offer free shipping on orders that total more than $75 AFTER any discount codes or sale prices are applied. Wholesale accounts are not eligible for free shipping.

Can I make changes to my order after it’s been confirmed?

No. Once your order has been confirmed in our system, it goes directly into our fulfillment department. This helps us avoid shipping errors and keep things moving efficiently.

What is Harbor Hemp’s order cancellation policy?

If you need to cancel an order, please email our customer care team at sales@harborhempcompany.com immediately. While we will always try our best to accommodate you, sometimes due to quick order turnaround times cancellation is not always possible. If your order has already shipped, please contact us to organize a return. Wholesale accounts are not eligible for order cancellations.

What should I do if I have an issue with my order?

How do I contact Harbor Hemp customer service?

If you have any questions about our products or your order, our customer care team can be reached at sales@harborhempcompany.com. We strive to get back to all inquiries as soon as possible, but please allow up to 24 hours for a response.

What is Harbor Hemp’s return policy and process?

Return Policy:

Products that are unopened and unused may be returned within 7 days of delivery. Harbor Hemp will only accept returns and provide refunds for purchases made on HarborHempCompany.com and cannot facilitate returns for purchases made at stores, events or other eCommerce channels. Refunds are issued at Harbor Hemp’s discretion and are not always guaranteed. As users have individual experiences with CBD use, we DO NOT offer a money back guarantee. If you have questions about whether you product is eligible for return, please email us at sales@harborhempcompany.com. Wholesale orders are not eligible for returns.

To start your return, please follow our step-by-step return process.

Return Process:

  1. Contact Harbor Hemp: Email sales@harborhempcompany.com immediately to notify our team that you would like to return your unopened product. You must do this within 7-days of delivery. Please include “Return” and your order number in the email subject. We will review your return request and email you back confirming the mailing address for the return, if approved.
  2. Ship Your Product Back: You are responsible for organizing and paying for the cost of return shipping. Once you have initiated your return shipping, please email the tracking number and carrier name to sales@harborhempcompany.com. Please be sure to include “Return” and your order number in the subject line.
  3. Receive Your Refund: Once we receive your return, we will inspect the item and issue you a full refund if everything is in order. You will be emailed a confirmation. Please a19 days for your refund to post back to the credit card account used for your initial purchase.
