CSGA

PRESS RELEASE

Harbor Hemp Company and the Connecticut State Golf Association (CSGA) have teamed up to make Harbor Hemp the official CBD Partner of the CSGA. As part of the partnership, Harbor Hemp will also provide its Connecticut-made hand sanitizer at 2020 CSGA events.

Owned by avid amateur golfers and brothers, David and Glen Boggini, Harbor Hemp is based in Coventry, Connecticut and manufactures small batch hemp-derived wellness products, including oils, capsules, topicals and water-soluble drops. Harbor Hemp’s products are available at golf pro shops, specialty stores, health and wellness shops or online at harborhempcompany.com.

“For years the CSGA has had a wonderful association with the Boggini family through their participation in our championships and the Connecticut golf community. Their business is built on the pillars of integrity and trust, values that are fundamental to the CSGA and the game of golf,” said Marsha Rupp, Director of Women’s Golf and Client Services. “We are proud to welcome Harbor Hemp Company as a new partner and introduce our golfing members to their high quality line of CBD and sanitizer products.”

Trusted by golfers across New England, Harbor Hemp is also the exclusive CBD partner of the New England PGA (NEPGA) and counts both professional and leading amateur golfers among its brand ambassadors.

“In golf, the time spent walking, practicing, training and competing adds up quickly and strains my mind and body. Throw in the wear and tear of everyday life and it’s tough to stay fresh,” said Rick Dowling, 2017 and 2019 CT Amateur Champion and 2019 CT Amateur Player of the Year. “Harbor Hemp’s Zero THC Pain Cream is my go-to, helping me remain active, feeling good and performing at my best.”

Short for cannabidiol, CBD is used to promote general health and wellness. Harbor Hemp’s CBD is derived from US-grown, non-GMP, pesticide-free hemp and every batch is independently lab-tested for purity and quality. Harbor Hemp is proud to be one of Connecticut’s first licensed hemp manufacturers and one of the first to be cGMP (Good Manufacturing Practices) Certified.

“Harbor Hemp’s mission is to create the highest quality and safest CBD products on the market,” said Glen Boggini, co-founder of Harbor Hemp Company. “We’re proud to leverage our family’s 80 years of experience sourcing the highest quality oils and plant extracts for the beverage industry to bring trusted CBD products to the Connecticut golfers.”
